Skip your local doughnut joint and make these quick and easy pumpkin cake doughnuts with maple glaze! Super moist and flavorful pumpkin cake paired with a sweet maple glaze- all you need is a cup of coffee!

  • 1¾ cups + 2 tablespoon's all-purpose flour
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • 1½ tsp salt
  • 1½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1½ cups pumpkin purée
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • For the Maple Glaze
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • ½ tsp maple flavoring
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Lightly grease twist/doughnut pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the oil, eggs, sugar, pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, salt, and baking powder until smooth.
  4. Then add flour, and stir until smooth.
  5. In a large piping bag/ziploc bag, fill the wells of your doughnut pan about ¾ full. This recipe should make about 15 doughnuts so you'll need to make them in two batches unless you have two pans.
  6. Bake the doughnuts for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Take the doughnuts out and allow them to cool.
  8. For the Maple Glaze
  9. In a medium-sized bowl, stir together all ingredients until smooth.
  10. Dip doughnuts into glaze at desired consistency.
