It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with blueberries. I’ve made blueberry muffins, blueberry mojitos, and blueberry french toast.
Yup. I love me some blueberries.
I’ve been seeing smoothie’s ย all over Instagram and I was inspired to make my own.
Blueberries have one of the highest antioxidant capacities among all fruits. Antioxidants are very essential when it comes to optimizing health by helping to combat free radicals that can damage the cellular structure within our bodies.
Blueberries are very beneficial to say the least. These benefits include the nervous system, brain health, and recent studies show that blueberries can improve memory. Yup, go get you some blueberries asap!
This smoothie also has oats in it which is great for fiber and it helps keep you full longer. I’ve also added bananas for more flavor and nutrients.
This smoothie is perfect to make for a quick and healthy breakfast on the go. One of my goals is to start eating better and work out more. I always find that after I work out, I usually skip an unhealthy meal and opt forย something better.
So yeah, this smoothie is good for you, filling, and just look at that color!

This blueberry banana oat smoothie is loaded with nutrients and whips up perfectly for a quick breakfast for your busy morning!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 2 frozen bananas, chopped in half
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 3/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup almond milk
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour immediately into desired glasses.
- Optional: garnish with extra blueberries.
