It is now socially acceptable to eat everything pumpkin in sight. I’m a little late to indulging in the pumpkin spice latte craze though. I love my Starbucks but there’s something about those PSLs that I’m not feeling. However, I do love pumpkin pie, pumpkin bars, and many other pumpkin treats.
I stocked up on enough cans of pumpkin puree to last me through next year, ha! I’ve got so many fall-inspired goods coming your way, you’re just gonna fall in love with me (ok, maybe we can just start out as friends.)
I’ve been working on a few different projects for the blog and I’m super excited to launch them in the near future. Some of these projects take me out of my comfort zone, so I’m a tad nervous. One of the things I’ve always struggled with is being social. You ever meet or know people that walk into a room and command attention? Or people that make being social look so effortless? As an extreme introvert, I often struggle with meeting new people or “selling” myself and my skills/talents.
I’ve been slowly trying to come out of my shell and meet new people. As a gemini, I can talk up a storm with people I’m familiar with. But when it comes to being put in a new environment and having to force myself to engage with others, I struggle.
I shared this with a new friend and she made me realize that most of what my fear in socializing with others is- lies in my head. Because of major trust issues, I often think that people will let me down or will be just a temporary person in my life. I’ve let past experiences dictate how I feel about meeting new people. I’m hopeful for what the future brings and I’m looking forward to meeting new people and growing.

- 1 cup fresh pineapple, chopped
- 1 cup fresh cantaloupe, chopped
- Garnish with whipped cream
- Simply layer fruit into desired glass.
- Start out with pineapple layer and then cantaloupe layer.
- Top with fresh whipped cream. I used whipped coconut cream for a vegan friendly option, but you can use regular whipped cream if you want.
