This peach pie smoothie bowl is super easy, packed full of nutrients, and tastes just like a fresh slice of peach pie (without the guilt)!
So I recently moved and have spent the greater half of last week getting settled. I swear, you really don’t know how much shit you have until you move. I mean, crap basically comes out from everywhere. And by everywhere, I mean, everywhere.
While packing boxes I found things that I haven’t used in months (in some cases, years!). I misplaced my very expensive sunglasses many months ago. And since then I chalked up the fact that I would probably never find them again. Well, while I was cleaning out my bookshelf- out they come and I think I hollered so loud my neighbors probably heard me.
This recipe is my very first recipe in my new environment.
I’ve been seeing so much smoothie bowls posted on Instagram and I was inspired to create my own.
For those who don’t know, a smoothie bowl is basically a regular smoothie that’s placed into a bowl rather than a traditional cup/glass and loaded with your favorite toppings.
Peach season is ending and while I’m excited to bring on all things pumpkin, I’m soaking up every peach recipe that I can. A few weeks ago, I made a killer peach mojito that was so on point!
I’ve been putting peaches in my ice cream, in my dranks, and basically everything in between.
But I must say that this peach pie smoothie bowl is topping my peach-loving heart.
Friends, when I tell you that this peach pie smoothie bowl tastes just like a slice of peach pie; I ain’t lying.
All you need is frozen peach slices, yogurt, almond milk, and a few other pie-making basic ingredients. Oh, and a blender.
I’ve incorporated non-fat Greek yogurt to go along with the peaches as the base of this smoothie bowl. It’s healthy and filling all at the same time.
For mornings where you’re rushing to work or just want to make something different, this smoothie bowl is where it’s at. I have to admit, when I first heard of smoothie bowls I rolled my eyes.
I was like, ok, this must be a new trend that all these healthy hippie people created. Yes, I was judging hardcore. LOL. And then I followed suit and experimented with making my own smoothie bowls and I love it! I like how you can easily prep your smoothie and then add whatever toppings you like.
I’ve added fresh slices of peaches, coconut flakes, granola, and cacao nibs to my peach pie smoothie bowl. Yup, I felt healthy AF and you will too ?
Remember, if you make any of my recipes- don’t forget to tag me on Instagram #butterbeready so I can see what you’ve made.
Till next time friends ✌?Print
