Super Easy Watermelon Slusharitas
These super easy watermelon slusharitas are incredibly good and refreshing. With just 5 ingredients this slushie-margarita hybrid is sure to be a hit with everyone!
Did you know that watermelon is basically made up of water, about 92% of water to be exact?
Not to mention that watermelon has a lot nutrients including vitamins A, B6, and C. It also has lycopene, antioxidants, and amino acids. So no surprise here that watermelon makes for a great summer snack or beverage.
Friends, I bring to you the easiest watermelon slusharita you’ve ever had!
Now I know what you’re thinking. Quin, what the hell is a “slusharita?” Well, a slusharita is the child of a slushie and a margarita. This drink is not just a slushie because I’ve added booze and it’s not quite a margarita because it differs from a classic margarita.
I’m not a big drinker but I gotta say that I love my mojitos and margaritas. I love a good ole fashion classic margarita but this watermelon slusharita is even better if you ask me. And yes, you did ask me.
All you need is a blender, fresh watermelon chunks, ice, lime juice, tequila, and sugar for extra sweetening. You start out by placing all of the ingredients into your blender, blend it while singing your favorite jam, and pour this delciousness into a glass.
Now how easy was that!?!
I made these babies the other day, I had two, and we won’t discuss how much my Mom had lol. They’re so light and super refreshing. For the kiddos or those who don’t want to consume alcohol, you can also leave out the tequila for a basic watermelon slushy.
These watermelon slusharitas also refrigerate well if you don’t finish it all (like that will happen ?). As we come to a close on summer 2016, these bad boys are perfect for lounging by the poolside.

Till next time friends ✌?
