Enjoy this seafood dip with crackers and/or veggies or spread it over a slice of toasted sourdough!
Ingredients
- 14 ounces smoked salmon
- 1 celery stalk, finely diced
- 1 small shallot, finely diced
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 teaspoons smooth dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon non-pareil capers
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped chives
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped dill
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped tarragon
- Zest + juice of 1 lemon
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Kosher salt & freshly ground black pepper- to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the smoked salmon, diced celery + shallot, mayonnaise, sour cream, dijon mustard, capers, fresh chopped chives, dill, and tarragon along with the lemon zest + lemon juice, garlic powder and salt/pepper- to taste. Use a fork to break up the salmon and stir the mixture well to thoroughly combine. Give the mixture a taste test and adjust with more salt/pepper, as desired.
- Transfer the smoked salmon dip into an airtight container and then keep stored in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 30 minutes. This gives the smoked salmon dip a little time for the flavors to meld.
- Serve this smoked salmon dip alongside crackers or chips of choice and/or vegetables. We also love this dip smeared on toast as a delicious snack/lunch option, too! Enjoy!
